Are you looking for a fun thing to do with your preschooler in Arizona? If yes take them over to the Arizona Science Center for one of their Preschool Science Saturday’s. Preschool Saturday Science supports school-ready skills such as problem-solving, communication and persistence, and families can purchase a special Take-Out Science Kit to learn more about everyday science at home for an additional $5.

Price is per child. Caregivers are required to participate in the class at no additional fee. Price does not include general admission to Arizona Science Center.

This months theme is balance. The online description of the class states “Without realizing it, we’re balancing all the time. We bend over to pick up something we dropped, walk along curbs, run up and down hills or steps, and carry heavy bags on one shoulder – all without falling over. The Leap into Science balance workshop invites children and families to learn more about the science of balance by exploring and manipulating the placement of weight in toys, structures, and in their own bodies. ”
